When my dear friends Frag and Naomi Woodall purchased a 1940's 2 bedroom apartment in a quiet leafy street of Sydney's east, they told us all they 'had plans to make a few changes'. Within about six months after their purchase of the property, the space was completely transformed from a pokey, tired little pad to a bright, beautiful home with flowing living spaces with charming fixtures and thoroughly thought-through design details. This incredible residential DIY reno was developed around the idea of it being a contemporary rendition of a 'swedish summer cabin'. The identification of the Scandinavian influences isn't all that essential; the way this creative and hardworking team have breathed new life into their home is quite outstanding.
